CONAPLIN (CONFERENCE ON APPLIED LINGUISTICS)
The International Conference on Applied Linguistics is an annual seminar held by the UPI Language Center in collaboration with the English Education Department of the Indonesia University of Education. The seminar was initially held to facilitate an exchange of knowledge, ideas and research results in the field of language education, language training and language testing. However, over the years, it has evolved and expanded to include more diverse topics that are relevant to Applied Linguistics in general. The first Conaplin was held in 2008 and now, in its 11th year, Conaplin has not only been one of the most prominent international academic events in the field of linguistics in the country, it has also made significant contributions to the development of language education and language testing in particular, and applied linguistics in general. As an initiator and permanent organizer of the event, UPI Language Center is proud the contributions that the conference has made in the field that we have dedicated ourselves to.
