BIPA REGULAR PROGRAM
The Regular BIPA Program is designed to help participants learn to communicate in Indonesian in various situations and contexts. The program is offered in six levels organized on the basis of Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF). Sessions are organized twice a week, each lasting for two hours. The program is available three times a year: January – April, May – August, and September – December periods.

Pre Elementray (BIPA 1) |
100 hours Upon completing this level, participants are expected to be able to understand and use contextual expressions to introduce oneself and fulfill daily routines and needs in a simple manner to communicate with a very cooperative interlocutor. |

Elementary (BIPA 2) |
100 hours Upon completing this level, participants are expected to be able to express their feelings in a simple manner, describe the surrounding environment, and communicate their daily needs and routine |

Pre Intermediate (BIPA 3) |
120 hours Upon completing this level, participants are expected to be able to express their experiences, hopes, goals, and plans briefly and in a coherent manner with reasons in the context of their daily life and work. |

Intermediate (BIPA 4) |
140 hours Upon completing this level, participants are expected to be able to report their observations of events and express their ideas about topics in their field, both abstact and concrete, fairly fluently without obstacles that interfere with their interlocutor’s understanding. |

Upper Intermediate (BIPA 5) |
140 hours Upon completing this level, participants are expected to be able to understand long and complex texts and express viewpoint ideas in various topics spontaneously and fluently almost without any obstacles, except in profession and academic and academic specific fields. |

Advance (BIPA 6) |
160 hours Upon completing this level, participants are expected to be able to understand long and complex texts that contain implied meanings and express ideas in a clear, structured, systematic and detailed language, fluently and spontaneously, appropriate to speech situation for social and professional needs, except in complex academic field (scientific work). |

The regular program consists of 3 to 10 students. The classes are scheduled 3 times a week (2 hours per session) on the following schedules.
