ENGLISH FOR TEENAGERS (EFT)
English for Teenagers (EFT) program is specifically designed for SMP (Junior High School) students. The program is aimed at helping junior high school students develop their real-context communicative skills, both in spoken and written English. EFT’s syllabus is also designed in such a way that its contents intersect with the national curriculum. Participants of this program will not only learn to hone their English communication skills but also receive practical assistance in doing their school work and tests. This program is offered in eight levels of 100 minute-24 sessions each (a total of 40 hours per level).

Elementary 1&2 |
At these levels, students learn to develop their receptive skills (listening and reading) and improve their vocabulary to enable them to respond appropriately to their interlocutors, both orally and through actions. |

Pre-Intermediate 1&2 |
Students continue to develop their receptive skills while at the same time build up their productive skills (speaking and writing). Contextual vocabulary building is the focus of these levels. |
|
Intermediate 1&2 |
Productive skills activities are the main focus of these levels. Upon completing these levels, students are expected to be able to initiate and respond to a conversation, understand passages, and express their personal experiences. |
|
Upper-Intermediate 1&2 |
These levels offer students opportunities to learn higher level of English through various activities related to real-life situations. The levels focus on enhancing students’ productive skills further in a native-like context. |
